26.02.2026 Artist talk with Karl Ohiri
“Working from Home”
at 10–11.30 on Zoom (request link via info@taidekoulumaa.fi)
The lecture Working from Home brings together past and ongoing works that examine the idea of ‘home’ as both a physical space and a conceptual framework within the artist’s practice. The talk reflects on how working from home - both literally and metaphorically - opens up possibilities for autobiographical and personal works, where the boundaries between life and work, private and public, origin and displacement, begin to blur. In doing so, it proposes home not simply as a backdrop, but as an active collaborator in the making of art.
