Cyane Findji is an artist and filmmaker originally from the Mediterranean and currently based in Helsinki, Finland. Her interdisciplinary practice uses documentary filmmaking as a process-based methodology to weave artistic and scientific inquiry into layered ecological narratives. She traces connections between human-and-other bodies across water environments, from ocean to glaciers. Through collaborations, fieldwork and site-sensitive approaches, her practice follows relational, feminist and multispecies frameworks. She graduated with an MA in Visual Cultures, Curating and Contemporary Art from Aalto University, Helsinki (FI) in 2024. Previously, she completed a BA in Fine Arts from ECAL/University of Art and Design, Lausanne (CH) followed by a curatorial internship at MAMCO/Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Geneva (CH).
