Celebrating its 40th anniversary, Art School Maa is still here, continuing its artist-led, community-oriented art education. We remain committed to fostering a diverse landscape of art education and its ongoing development.
Due to funding cuts, the school has had to scale back on many activities essential to its operations. While the diverse curriculum remains intact, the school no longer has the means to subsidize student visits, study trips, or excursions in the way it once did. After all, artistic thinking is born from encounters, experiences, and from exploring the surroundings.
Supporting membership fees help fund access to student excursions, visits to exhibitions and museums, and study trips.
About the Association:
The purpose of the Taidekoulu Maa’s Support Association (Taidekoulu Maan Kannatusyhdistys ry) is to promote art education and professional training in the arts, as well as the artistic development of its students. To achieve this purpose, the association maintains the art school known as Art School Maa/Taidekoulu Maa, monitors and fosters its operations and development, and plans the school's financing. Through the school's activities, the association raises awareness of Taidekoulu Maa’s significance as a professional educational institution. The association further pursues its goals by organising lectures, information sessions, discussions, and other events.
Individuals or other legal entities wishing to support the association's purpose and activities may be accepted as supporting members.
By becoming a supporting member of Art School Maa with a contribution of your choice, you support our students. The supporting membership fee for an individual or community ranges from 10 to 100 euros.
The supporting membership fee can be a one-time payment or an annual donation.
